After attending our weekly adoption day on Saturday, Kaylee and I visited the Santa at PetSmart. Big shout-out to the group there who donated her picture as an effort to help her. Kaylee's Christmas wish? A forever home.
Last night, Mr. Southern and I, with a very excited Samantha, Tilghman, and nervous Madison, went to St. Nick's Pet Pics (blogged about below) to see Santa. Keep an eye out for their Christmas wish list later this week. It was a crazy experience to walk into the mall with our three very large furkids, but a great educational experience for young kids (one little girl totally fell in love with Tilghman) and adults who have never been around dogs. Growing up with large dogs, I just can't imagine being afraid of our furballs! But one woman was- but ended up petting them anyway.
Next week, I think we take Kaylee to see the second Santa.
